Born and raised in New York City. Now in Toronto, with passports from Canada, the United States and Brazil.

My first set was Sesame Street. I was a kid playing a kid named Daniela, and I have been on sets, one way or another, ever since. A few years later I was Young Henry's Sister #1 in GoodFellas.

In college I studied theatre and studio art, with graphic design and photography on the art side, and I stage managed all four years. I started a master's, stage managed one more semester, and then left for film sets. The student loans came with me.

I started as a PA on Sex and the City and School of Rock and worked my way up through second AD. I have been a 1st AD for fifteen years now, and the work has taken me to Ontario, Quebec and nine states. Stage managing taught me how to run a room. A film set is just a bigger room. Along the way I produced a Netflix series and an independent feature.

Every Fourth of July from 2004 to 2014, I was Production Stage Manager of the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest at Coney Island. If you can call that show, you can call anything.

Wet Nose Films is my company. It holds the AD work and my own writing.

Off set, I write, I paint, and I take on home projects my family did not ask for. This year it is a greenhouse. I am also a certified crochet instructor.
